Mental Health Support in Perimenopause & Menopause

In our work together, you’ll have a space to navigate the emotional changes that can come with perimenopause and menopause with understanding and support. This stage of life can bring unexpected shifts—mood swings, irritability, sadness, or a sense of feeling disconnected from yourself—and it’s not something you have to face alone. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing, help you reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way, and create a path forward that feels steady and true to who you are.

Brainspotting Therapy

Brainspotting supports the brain’s natural ability to process and heal emotional experiences by helping you access what’s beneath the surface in a deep yet gentle way. Rooted in the concept that “where you look affects how you feel,” this approach uses specific eye positions, called brainspots, to access and resolve emotional experiences, stress, and trauma stored in the body. By focusing on these brainspots in a supportive therapeutic space, Brainspotting helps untangle emotional pain, ease distress, and create lasting shifts toward healing and resilience.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy, short for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, helps the brain naturally reprocess difficult or lingering experiences so they no longer feel as charged or disruptive. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR follows an eight-phase protocol designed to gently guide the brain through processing distressing memories. Using bilateral sensory stimulation (BLS)—such as side-to-side eye movements, alternating tapping, or sounds—EMDR supports the mind’s ability to heal, helping reduce emotional distress and shift unhelpful patterns connected to past experiences.

Brainspotting Intensive Therapy

A Brainspotting therapy intensive offers extended, focused sessions designed around your unique needs and goals. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives provide dedicated time and space to deeply process a specific challenge, allowing for meaningful progress in a shorter period. Whether you’re working through a past experience, navigating a major life shift, or seeking relief from persistent emotional distress, this approach offers a structured yet flexible path toward healing. Each intensive is tailored to you, creating the opportunity for deeper breakthroughs and a renewed sense of clarity and confidence.

10 hour program $3,750 includes:
90-minute intake session
2 4-hour Brainspotting intensive online sessions
30-minute follow-up meeting 2-4 weeks after completion of intensive sessions
Payment in full required upon completion of paperwork in order to schedule sessions (payment includes 50% non-refundable deposit)

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York, New Jersey and a registered out of state telehealth provider in Florida. We are able to meet for sessions virtually if you are located in one of these three states.

Currently, I am a fully online therapist and do not meet with clients in person. Our sessions can take place on your computer, tablet, or phone through my HIPPA compliant video conferencing software.

I specialize in working with women over 40 or who identify as being in midlife, who have anxiety or are experiencing perimenopause and menopause. Below are the services I currently offer.

I’m Ready, What Do I Do Next?

First, request your consultation

Go to my Contact page. You will see a link to my calendar that displays my availability. You can then click on an available time to request your free 30-minute phone consultation. Once you’ve submitted your request, look for my confirmation email.

Next, complete the Questionnaire

Your confirmation email will request that you complete the Consultation Questionnaire through my client portal. The questionnaire must be completed no later than 2 hours prior to our appointment time, or you will be contacted via the client portal to reschedule.

Then, let’s have a chat

I will call you at our scheduled time where I will learn more about you and respond to your questions. We’ll decide if we are a good fit to work together. If either of us believes we will not be a good fit, I will help you find a referral to another provider.
